On Wednesday 14 August, Justin Lane and I presented the main findings of CulturePulse’s project with the United Nations Development Program country office in Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of UNDP’s Global Innovation webinar series.

Among other things, we addressed the following questions:

What are the primary challenges and limitations encountered when creating and utilising a social digital twin for policy testing?

How can the insights gained from the social digital twin be effectively integrated into real-world policy-making to enhance social cohesion and trust?

What are the ethical considerations and safeguards necessary to ensure that AI-based models and simulations do not inadvertently harm the communities they aim to benefit?
