In July I was part of a summer school in Cambridge and Belfast that sponsored several young leaders (see picture) from countries struggling with various types of conflict (such as Ukraine, Armenia, and Azerbaijan).

It was a great experience to meet them all and discuss ways in which computer modeling and social simulation might help address some of the societal challenges they face.

I’m hoping this will lead to future collaborations (several conversations ongoing 🙂).
